2021 Topps Rip Red Parallel
Ty Cobb #42 "Unripped"
$735K US
Trasinda has the exclusive right to offer the one of a kind extremely unique 2021 Topps Rip Parallel #42 - Ty Cobb in original unripped mint condition with fully intact special release inner card unseen and untouched. This is the most exclusive and only Ty Cobb card of it's type in the world.
In 2020, Topps introduced the ripped concept that many were familiar with through Allen & Ginter baseball cards.
The standard sized parallel card when ripped open would contain an exclusive mini card including short print image variations and rare metal or autographed issues. Indeed most were immediately ripped open to see what treasure might await inside rendering the external Rip card almost valueless as a collectable.
It is exceedingly difficult now to find any unripped versions especially of very limited issues of 99 or less.
Ty Cobb, credited with setting 90 MLB records, was not included as a player selection until the reintroduction of the Topps Ripped Series in 2021.
This 2021 Topps Rip Red Parallel #42 shown above is the only Ty Cobb card of its kind in existence and as an unripped 1/1 parallel card contains an unknown mini card inside. It is likely that such an important 1/1 parallel would contain a highly prized internal card.
The highly collectible 2021 Topps MRIP-TC mini cards shown below were removed from inside the standard Rip cards and depict Ty Cobb from another famous picture of Cobb and Honus Wagner taken during the 1909 World Series between the Detroit Tigers and the Pittsburg Pirates and are included in this asset offer.
These extremely limited valuable Rip inner cards include ultra-short print Orange 1/3 with short prints Blue 6/10, Green 11/15 and Purple 1/25.
Also included as examples of the more standard yet relatively limited issues are clean mint condition unripped Green 8/15 and Orange 46/99 parallels with the special inner cards still unseen and untouched.
The collectible persona and rarity value of this card set, especially the unripped original Red 1/1 Ty Cobb #42 card favors tremendous growth potential for decades to come and if graded and encapsulated will become an invaluable time capsule in the history of baseball card collectibles.
